  Would You Feel Safe Visiting A Muslim Country?

  Myelaine, why don't you try speaking to us from your heart and tell us in your own words instead of typing stuff from the societies publications. If we wanted to read that stuff we could easily find it for ourselves. Most here are'nt going to be forced into an impromptu witness. Thanks.

  Guns: Opinions?

  my mom isnt a big fan of guns, but after being mugged once, she appreciates the value of a well placed firearm.

  she doesn't mind that i hunt and go to the shooting range regularly with my father.

  about 6 months ago, i was out in field service with my mother and an elder's 2 daughters.

  (And I don't envision potential attackers announcing themselves in time to allow their prey to dig out a pistol.) Buster, If the thugs knew that a very high percentage of people were carrying, he might just think a little more before pulling his. At present I would estimate that the majority of gun carriers are the thugs. :)

  my little sister (not a jw) forwarded me some pictures of my brothers 2 kids (jw and fanatically shuns me).

  i would not have recognized them on the street.

  just when you think you can't hurt anymore...something is always thrown in your face.

  IronGland, I feel the same way about carrying a gun. If every responsible adult carried a gun, the thugs would think twice about pulling one on you.
